Maci is 6 weeks old!

Here you are on your 6 week old birthday! I can't believe we are already here. I honestly feel like just yesterday you were our itty bitty brand new baby girl and we just got home from the hospital. Time sure does fly.

 You survived you first cold and it only last for about a week...you never whined or fussed...I don't even think you knew you had a cold. Come the day of your 6 week birthday you were good to go and cold free!

 Our little family of three went out for the day and we had lunch with Ashley. {Ally needs to come next time!}You were awake right when we picked up Ashley and she got to play with you for a little bit, but then you went right to sleep when we got to the restaurant for your daily afternoon nap. Afterwards, we ran some errands and were lazy the rest of the day...but there is nothing better than being lazy together with our little family.

 Today, we went shopping and mom got a new pair of shoes she was wanting.You were great once again, my little sidekick. Mimi came too! Everyone at the mall was coming up to us saying how cute you were and how they LOVED your adorable leopard outfit. You are one stylish little girl! I just have to put this out there...you have the CUTEST chubbiest cheeks in the world and that is another thing everyone always talks about when they see you. They are so fun to play with and you don't seem to mind. You always smile when we play with them and you ALWAYS cry when the paci falls out of your mouth and you're not done with it. The pacifier is your best friend!

Easy baby..Easy life

 Taking care of this sweet little girl is what my days consists of and I couldn't be any happier! She is truly such an easy baby and full of smiles...which I LOVE!

 Normally, Maci is asleep during lunch dates or outings in the afternoon, but she is starting to be awake a lot more during the day and sleeps like an absolute angel at night...not kidding. She is a rock star at her whole bedtime routine. Mom, dad, and baby get 6 hours straight  and a quick feeding, then a good 3 hours straight..what a champ :)

Mimi and Pap offered to watch baby girl while mom and dad had a date night. We had so much fun we even hit up Baker Street after dinner to have a few drinks. I missed that place. I hadn't been there since before I was pregnant. We did miss out little one so much that we actually found ourselves talking about her a good part of the night. We ended up coming home earlier than expected because Chris had work the next day and we missed out little peanut , but we enjoyed our date night for sure.

Life is seriously the best now that we have her.

We were on our way home from Jack & Connor's birthday party...wore this girl out! She was very happy that she got to spend a Saturday with Grandpa and Nana too!

Like this little girl doesnt have enough clothes already...this mom has a serious shopping problem when it comes to having a daughter. Having a little girl is so much fun...the clothes are adorable and the bows..Oh Em Gee..got to have bows..Maci has a bow for every outfit..you can bet your bottom dollar :)

September Happenings

September has been a busy one for us, but lots of fun!

We make sure to have our visits with Jadie and Jason every so often!

Maci loves them very much. Chris & I do too! hehe

 Great Aunt Martha came to visit.. so glad she was able to see Maci

Shopping trips are one of your favorite things to do with mommy. Mall, Target, Baby Boutiques..you name it..you love it! This week you have been giving your dad & I lots of smile..regardless of your cold you caught from mommy. You have also started to smile at us when your awake when we play with you.

Chris' 27th birthday was this past Sunday and we celebrated it with the family!

Maci you were sleeping of  course! Lilly bug was helping her uncle blow out his candles.

Visit from Grandma

I know this post is a little late, but Maci & I  have been battling a cold. That's right Maci you have managed to get your first cold. It doesn't even seem to phase you. Me on the other hand..different story...but I'm FINALLY cold free and Maci is almost there :)

My mother in law came all the way from Kansas to meet her granddaughter for the first time.  We had such a great time visiting and just relaxing with you. Thank you for your help while you were here too!

One night we had Chris brother, Nick, his fiance, Natalie and little Camille join us for dinner. My momma came too..my dad was out of town but you were missed daddio.

We had a fun time and even got in some family pictures :)

You ENJOY sleep! You have gotten even better with your schedule the past couple weeks and typically go to sleep around 10 o'clock and wake up around 2:30ish for a feeding/diaper change...go right back down and wake up again around 6:00ish in the morning..go back down till about 8:00ish. Me and your daddy and are so grateful that you give us sleep..especially since your daddy can't sneak in a cat nap here and there since he is at work. Who am I kidding...I don't nap either! I know people say mommies should nap when their babies nap...but lets be real...that's when I get all the stuff around the house done like laundry..clean bottles..vacuum..shower..get myself ready for the day..etc You are either asleep or your going to town on your play mat :) With all the sleep you give us at night time...I don't even need to take naps during the day! Love you sweet girl!

Just last Sunday was the first of many Sunday football fun!

It was also Grandparent's Day.. we saw Mimi & Pap Pap!

They love you so much!

Since your daddy was off that Monday we decided to have a little family outing. We went to meet grandpa (Chris' Dad) in downtown Houston for some lunch & then we took a nice stroll out to Discovery Green Park. (You slept the whole entire time Miss Maci)

Right when we got home you woke up and we got to get a

cute picture of you in your adorable outfit!

But then you had an episode and it had to come right off lol

You are such an angel though :)

I love watching you change everyday, but at the same time I don't want you to grow up.(I know selfish mommy) It already feels like time is flying! Me & your dad cherish each & everyday with you & that is such an amazing feeling.
